FASHION FÊTE
Just in time for the mad rush known as holiday shopping, Festivity opens its fourth boutique. The chic shopping destination for affordable, hip clothes and artisan jewelry is now at the Forum in Norcross. To celebrate (as the name suggests), the shop, which is the largest of all four stores with 2,500 square feet, is throwing a party for itself this weekend (Sat., Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sun., Nov. 11 from noon to 6 p.m.). Highlights include major sales, trunk shows with local jewelers, a chance to win a $500 gift certificate and weekend specials. Designer clothing from Trina Turk, Walter, Hudson, Parameter, Beth Bowley, Nanette Lepore and Bow and Arrow, and handmade jewelry by local designers, are among the finds. 5145 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross, 770-446-4750, www.festivityonline.com

Getting a college education ain’t cheap for sure. But dressing like the smart person that you are takes some shopping know-how. PEAR-SHAPED BEAUTY
Always looking out for your skin’s health, Kiehl’s celebrates its own official day from Nov. 12 to Nov. 17. The beauty company was honored Nov. 12, 2003, by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg when he declared the day “Kiehl’s Day,” after the shop planted a pear tree at the location of its flagship store. The New York–based old-world apothecary is spreading the love to all of its stores, including its Atlanta Lenox Square location, providing complimentary Champagne and pears, passing out free lip balm with purchase, and offering a chance to win $1,851 worth of Kiehl’s products. On Nov. 12, the first 100 customers score free Ultimate Strength Hand Salve—perfect for the coming frost, er, slight dip in temps. While you’re there racking up on winter beauty supplies, check out Kiehl’s newest offering: Limited Edition Pear Tree Corner products, all infused with a juicy pear scent. The Pear Tree Corner Soap Set is a special-edition trio of hard-milled soaps, featuring an image of “Pear Tree Corner,” the location of the Kiehl’s flagship store for the past 156 years. $35. Lenox Square, 3393 Peachtree Rd. NE, 404-816-7630, www.kiehls.com. SP
